Local Instrument Rooms for land- and offshore rigs are often / usually designed and build to specific requirement as regards to space available, function and certification standard.

The containers can be built to meet fire class A0 to A60 and safe or hazardous area ATEX zone 1 or 2.

Furthermore, the containers can be built to NORSOK or other required standard.

Local Instrument Rooms can, depending on customer wishes, be constructed from carbon steel as well as stainless steel.
Outfitting of cabins is generally carried out in close cooperation with customer or end user.

Scancab can offer a comprehensive list of mechanical and electrical accessories or options to be integrated with the cabin in order to end up with the ultimate solution.

Heating, cooling and over pressure (HVAC) can be part of delivery, designed to meet specific requirements.
Electrical outfitting will take place in our in-house electrical department. The cabins are often delivered plug-and-play.

All cabins are well tested and documented prior to delivery.
